Join the Sandstone Counseling Team

We’re a small, growing group practice based in Boston, supporting adolescents and adults navigating disordered eating, anxiety, and relationship stress.

We’re currently looking for a therapist to join our team — someone thoughtful, relational, and interested in building a sustainable, values-aligned caseload over time.

Part-Time or Full-Time Therapist

Start Date: Summer or Fall 2026

We’re hiring a therapist specializing in eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, trauma or relationships. This role will begin primarily virtual, with the opportunity to transition into a hybrid schedule (1–2 in-person days/week in Brookline) later this year as we expand office space. We are open to licensed candidates or pre-licensed candidates with eating disorder experience (including internship).

You’ll Do Well Here If You…

  • Practice from CBT, ACT, or relational frameworks

  • Value collaboration, consultation, and ongoing learning

  • Want to grow your caseload steadily with a focus on fit, not just volume

  • Bring a grounded, thoughtful presence to your work

    • Competitive compensation structure

    • Compensation for required non-clinical responsibilities (e.g., meetings, trainings)

    • Stipend towards continuing education or clinical trainings of your interest

    • Pre-licensed clinicians: weekly individual supervision and group consultation

    • Licensed clinicians: ongoing case consultation and collaborative team environment

    • Psychology Today profile + directory marketing support

    • Malpractice coverage

    • HIPAA-compliant phone line & secure texting

    • EHR + integrated telehealth platform

    • Administrative support for scheduling and billing workflows

    • Master’s degree in mental health counseling or related field

    • Working toward MA LMHC or independently licensed in MA (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT)

    • Ability to maintain a minimum of 8 client sessions/week

    • Comfortable starting in a primarily virtual role

    • 1+ year experience (including internship); experience with eating disorders/body image preferred

    • Practice from an anti-diet and trauma-informed framework
